What is Synergy Collectives?

Synergy social collectives are a different kind of social experience. Most social events are: one-time experiences with surface-level interactions in awkward networking environments with inconsistent communities. Synergy Collectives is designed differently. Every experience is low-pressure, intentionally structured, thoughtfully facilitated, and most importantly, recurring and community-driven. Our goal is simple: To help people feel welcomed, connected, and part of something larger than themselves. So whether you are new to Lakeland, building a business, working remotely, navigating a new life season, or simply looking for more meaningful friendships, there's a place for you here as we build communities one conversation at a time.
Below we have compiled answers to the most common questions, but if we missed one, please feel free to reach out and ask - we are happy to help!
Is this a networking event?
No. While you may meet people who share your interests, career path, or life stage, these experiences are designed around genuine connection and community-building rather than traditional networking.
What should I expect?
Each gathering includes a mix of facilitated conversation, shared experiences, and opportunities to connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Every event is designed to help people move beyond small talk and build authentic relationships. We utilize a variety of different venues around the area, so there will often be a new place to experience or explore with your group.
Is this a dating event?
No. These gatherings are focused on friendship, community, shared interests, and meaningful social connection.
Is there a specific age requirement?
Most collectives are designed around a particular life stage or shared experience rather than a strict age requirement. Please review the event description to determine whether the collective is a good fit for you.
I'm introverted. Will I feel out of place?
Not at all. Our experiences are intentionally structured to remove the pressure often associated with social events. Conversations are guided, group sizes are manageable, and participation is always encouraged—not forced. And we even have one collective just for people like you that is a smaller group with lower-key experiences.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, we encourage you to invite friends to enhance your experience.
Will there be food?
Yes, there will be food and non-alcoholic beverages included in ticket prices, unless otherwise noted. You will have opportunity when registering to let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Will there be alcohol?
Some venues may offer alcoholic beverages for purchase, but alcohol is never the focus of our experiences. We create environments where meaningful connection can happen whether you drink or not. And we have a collective for people who prefer to spend time only with others who want to have an alcohol-free experience.
What is included in my ticket price?
Inclusions are dependent on what the experience is, but will generally include: entrance to the experience, food and non-alcoholic beverages (if applicable), activity facilitator to ensure everything goes smoothly, and any venue entry fees, if applicable (for example, park fees or theater tickets).
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Most events are casual or smart casual unless otherwise noted in the event description.
How many people attend?
Most collectives are intentionally limited in size to encourage meaningful interaction and a comfortable atmosphere. Event capacity varies by collective and venue, but most experiences will be around 30-35 people maximum. See descriptions for attendance limits.
How often do events take place?
Collectives meet regularly throughout the month, creating opportunities to build familiarity and develop genuine relationships over time. Our goal is for each group to meet at least twice a month but this will be dependent on each group's needs.
Why do you limit event attendance?
Smaller groups create better conversations, stronger relationships, and a more welcoming experience for everyone involved. However, there will be occasional larger gatherings for all members of collectives to meet together.
What makes these experiences different from Meetup groups or Facebook events?
Our experiences are intentionally facilitated, consistently scheduled, and focused on building community over time. We prioritize recurring connection, welcoming environments, and helping people develop real relationships—not just attend events.
What happens if I attend and don't know anyone?
That's exactly why many people come. Our facilitators are there to help make introductions, create comfortable conversation opportunities, and ensure everyone feels welcomed.
Will I have to speak in front of the group?
No. Participation is always voluntary, and there are no public speaking expectations.
Do I need to be a member to attend?
No. While some events are for members only, most are open to anyone who would like to come. However, there are only a limited number of non-member tickets available for each experience, so members do have more availability access.
Why is there a membership?
Our membership model allows us to create consistent, recurring experiences where people can build genuine relationships over time. Membership helps foster familiarity, community, and a stronger overall experience.
What is included with membership?
Membership includes access to recurring collectives, input into community experiences, member communications, priority registration opportunities, and exclusive events such as Saturday Roam experiences. Members may also get discounts on specific experience tickets.
What is a Founding Member?
Founding Members are the first 50 people to join during our launch season (July 1 through September 30, 2026). They will receive a locked-in low membership rate of $29/month, special Founders only events, and the opportunity to help shape the future of the community.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Membership can be canceled at any time. Memberships are month to month and there are no long-term contracts or commitments. If you join at the Founding Member rate, cancellation of your membership will result in the loss of that discount should you decide to come back in the future.
